Hmm, I think I would buy now , but a lil more info would be nice.
When I bought Guildwars, I didnt know anything about it
Because Guild Wars is becoming boring to me, and I want some new PvE
I trust ANet

Of course Id buy it! GW seems to be getting more and more enjoyable by the minute, though maybe I am just blinded by extra storage space . . .

If it were ready to go right now, I'd pick it up. Obviously, the game hasn't reached that stage yet. Barring the addition of magnificent pink princess ponies and such, I'd buy it...

Hmmm...two days ago I could have said "yes" hands down.
Hard to say right now though, because my main character (i.e. all my "serious" titles, armors, etc) is my Necro, and I'm still trying to adjust to the dramatic effect the recent change to SR has had in my play style and, quite honestly, my enjoyment of the game. I'm not saying, "holycrap ZOMG how could they do this to meeee" and getting ready to rage quit or anything, but I'm feeling more than a little ambiguous about investing more time and money into something that just recently disappointed me.
Some things that could get me more excited about the new expansion:
--I'd like my soul reaping back..take it away from spirits entirely, I don't care, but not the current timebased mechanic.
--Announce whether there's going to be a CE for GW:EN
--More info on Hall of Monuments (will there be different GW2 unlocks per maxed titles only? Or will there be rewards for any tiers achieved too? Like..my monk has Survivor [1]...will she still get something cool, even though she's not Legendary Survivor??)
--Bring on the concept art, I love looking at that stuff and speculating
--An informative update on the PvE Mesmer buff that was mentioned back in February to boost morale
Honestly, yes, there was a lot in last update that was really great, and I know some people just don't understand why others are making a big deal out of the SR change. However, as it stands now I can definitely say that it's hit me hard enough that it's made me rethink how excited I am about the future of the game. Haven't ruled it out or anything, but I'm definitely not ready to jump right on the bandwagon. Two days ago, I would've been DRIVING the freakin thing....but now...I just don't know.

I would buy it, but , because of the recent updates i say its good to keep me happy for a while.
What i mean is, if they had said it would be out tomorrow, i would be in line to buy it, but then came and said they ran into some problems and couldn't release it until further notice, but had also released this update, this update is enough to keep me busy while i wait.

My 2 main characters are Paragons and Necromancers. Paragons are STILL being nerfed (as opposed to the simple and often suggested change: Make Paragon shouts and chants only effect non-Paragons), and Soul Reaping was just destroyed. If GW:EN came out right now, I would not buy it.

I would buy it hands down. My freetime is boring as of late and when my indomitable died last week moments before legendary (3), I decided to take a break and wait for word on the Hall of Monuments to confirm if it works by tiers. I'm not mad because it was my fault. I've just been down when playing GW and feel like I need new content to restore the magic of the game.
I made the mistake of resubscribing to WoW while waiting for GW:EN (I cancelled WoW April 26 '05, haha) and leveling up my Dranaei Shaman to lvl 25 was mind-numbingly boring. Don't make the mistake I did..

No, I'm waiting for the CE.
(just kidding, of course I would buy it now! I've been waiting to get back to Ascalon for 2 years... seeing the new races will be awesome, however the Hall of Monuments works, I'll be spending lots of time carrying over as much as possible to Guild Wars 2.
Pure genius, Anet, pure genius....

Interesting thoughts, most of the people here would buy it, while they don't know much about it yet.
I myself, would wait for more information to come out, but I'm eager to not read any more information on GW:EN, simply because it spoils a lot of fun (Junundu in NF anyone?).
